The Alcone drivers listed below feature an aluminium-sandwich cone, whose surface has been hardened further through anodising. This results in a extremely light yet rigid cone leading to a airy and realistic sound reproduction. Any resonance will be moved to higher frequencies where the bass driver is not active. In order to achieve these outstanding sound quality all mid / bass drivers feature:

  • a die cast basket
  • adequate magnets for excellent bass characteristics

    All drivers show an excellent finish and represent an inexpensive alternative to European top class drivers. Please note: the wide terminal represents "plus". Several construction designs are available.
    AC 1 HAT MK II

    AC 1 HAT MK II   EUR 59,00

    Magnetically shielded 25 mm tweeter with a very hard ceramic dome and wide frequency response. The front plate has a diameter of 104 mm and requires a cut-out of 80 mm. At 20 kHz the tweeter shows a frequency rise which can be compensated by a pull circuit consisting of a 1.5 uF capacitor and a 0.05 mH coil. This tweeter is ideally suited for frequencies above 2-3 kHz with a crossover of 12 or 18 dB/octave.
