More and more customers require high output subwoofers for their home cinema. This is an extremely solid subwoofer with high output.

The Sub 15's bass driver is the solidly built Newtronics Sub 15. The driver comprises:

  • an extremely solid die cast basket
  • double ventilated voice coil
  • a surround of 40 mm
  • a drive system adequate for low bass
  • an impedance of 4 Ohm, ideal for exploiting the amplifier's capabilities
  • gold plated terminals

Located on the rear side of the subwoofer is the amplifier module RCM Detonation DT 300 or optionally RCM Detonation DT 500. Both modules feature state-of-the-art technology, in order to produce an enormous output with top quality coming from a small cabinet.

    Frequenzgang
The frequency response (pictured right) with infinitely variable crossover frequency (to be done on the module); blue line: at 100 Hz crossover frequency, red line: 60 Hz. Should the bass a be a bit tighter and go down a bit further down (at reduced volume), we recommend to extend the bass reflex tube by 4 cm using folded paper.

    The kit contains:
    - a Newtronics Sub 15 bass driver
    - a Detonation DT 300 amplifier module
or as -500 with DT 500 amplifier module
    - 2 HP100 bass reflex tubes, pointing down
    - 1/2 pack nap foam N25
    - 8 Allen wood screws 5x30mm
